Why Follow Jesus? (Matthew 11:28-30)

“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” (Matt 11:28-30)
Why follow Jesus? He knows you better than you know yourself.
Jesus knows and understands:

1. What makes you you.
* O Lord , you have searched me and known me! 2 You know when I sit down and when I rise up; 3 You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. 4 Even before a word is on my tongue, behold O LORD, you know it altogether. Ps. 139:1-4

2. Your secrets.
* For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weakness, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Hebrews 4:15
* then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment. 2 Peter 2:9

3. Your potential.
* For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good
works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in
them. Ephesians 2:10
* For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil. 2 Cor. 5:10
