The Blessings of the Fear of the Lord (Psalm 86:11)

Proverbs 9:10 - The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight.

Job 28:28 - And he said to man,
‘Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom,
and to turn away from evil is understanding.’”

Proverbs 8:13 -The fear of the LORD is hatred of evil. Pride and arrogance and the way of evil and perverted speech I hate.

Proverbs 16:6 – By steadfast love and faithfulness iniquity is atoned for, and by the fear of the Lord one turns away from evil.

Proverbs 28:14- Blessed is the one who fears the LORD always, but whoever hardens his heart will fall into calamity.

Proverbs 14:27- The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, that one may turn away from the snares of death.

Psalm 25:12-14- Who is the man who fears the LORD? Him will he instruct in the way that he should choose. His soul shall abide in well-being, and his offspring shall inherit the land.

Psalm 31:19-20 – Oh, how abundant is your goodness, which you have stored up for those who fear you and
worked for those who take refuge in you, in the sight of the children of mankind!

Proverbs 19:23- The fear of the LORD leads to life, and whoever has it rests satisfied; he will not be visited by harm.

Psalm 33:18-19 – Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, On those who hope for His lovingkindness, To deliver their soul from death And to keep them alive in famine.

Psalm 34:9-11 - Oh, fear the LORD, you his saints, for those who fear him have no lack!
10 The young lions suffer want and hunger; but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.
11 Come, O children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
