Mentoring through Adoption

Ruth 1:16-17
But Ruth said, “Do not urge me to leave you or to return from following you. For where you go I will go, and where you lodge I will lodge. Your people shall be my people, and your God my God. Where you die I will die, and there will I be buried.

1. The Kingdom of God is a family, not a corporation. Ruth 1:16-17, 1 Cor. 16:20, Phil. 2:22, Mark 3:31-35

2. It’s common to think you have nothing to give. Ruth 1:11-13, 1 Kings 19:3-4, John 21:17. It is God’s responsibility to make the stories of your life to work out.

3. Mentoring through adoption brings life to both giver and recipient. Ruth 4:13, 1 Kings 19:15-18, Phil. 2:19-20, 1 Thess. 3:6.
