What is the Goal of Your Soul? ()

Roger Thrower, April 6, 2014
Part of the The Path of Victory series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

Luke 9:51-62: When the days drew near for him to be taken up, he set his face to go to Jerusalem...
To walk steadfastly setting our face toward the Lord we must avoid these substitutes (excuses/detours):
1. Short-lived emotional enthusiasm -v.58
2. Procrastination -v.60 (Analysis paralysis - over-thinking instead of committing)
3. Half-heartedness - v.62 (2 Kings 13;14-19 - Going all in releases you into God's maximum use)

Tags: committment, correction, faithfulness, steadfastness
