1. Keep your hope on Christ’s return.
*But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what part of the night the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and would not have let his house be broken into. Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect. Matt. 24 43-44
* According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and
unfading, kept in heaven for you, who by God’s power are being guarded by faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 1 Peter 1:3b-5

2. Keep your eyes on the glory of Jesus.
* But when one turns to the Lord, the veil is removed. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit. - 2 Corinthians 3:16-18
* And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 2 Cor. 4:3-4

3. Keep your heart unto the Lord.
* Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life. Proverbs 4:23
* The crucible is for silver, and the furnace is for gold, and the Lord tests hearts. Proverbs 17:3
