ROGER THROWER will be found most Sunday mornings leading worship and preaching at New Hope Foursquare Church in Fairmont, West Virginia.

He leads people into the presence of God with his music, and ministers the truth of the Word of God. Roger is a prolific song writer, having written more than 400 songs including praise and worship songs, children’s songs, and Christmas songs. He notes that in his intimate time with the Lord and during unexpected moments, the Spirit will often quicken the words and music of a new song.

Roger Thrower received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Studies from Evangel College in Springfield, Missouri, and attended Fuller Seminary in Pasadena, California.

As pastors, Roger and his wife Heather have seen New Hope grow and prosper from a small group of saints into a church strong in the Spirit, worship and ministry, influencing many people in the community as well as the eastern United States. In addition to pastoring, he also serves as the Divisional Superintendent for the Foursquare Denomination in West Virginia.

Through the presence and gifting of God on his life, Roger has recorded several albums: “God Is My Redeemer ,” “Father’s Song ,” and his newest release “Roger Thrower LIVE! ”The title song from “God Is My Redeemer ” was featured on the hit series “Touched by an Angel. ”

In 2003, Roger began making live appearances on Christian radio, reaching listeners in West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. The Lord used this experience to put the desire to share the hope of Jesus Christ in spoken messages underscored with his music. These messages of hope, combined with the instrumental music, have been arranged into a ministry devotional CD titled, “A Hope Filled Moment.”
